Please Note: New clients must begin with a Signature Facial to allow for a proper skin assessment and ensure the most suitable peel is selected.

A chemical peel is a powerful skin-renewing treatment, and proper preparation and aftercare are essential to ensure optimal results, minimize irritation, and protect your skin throughout the healing process.
Before Your Chemical Peel
To prepare your skin and enhance treatment outcomes:
  • Avoid active ingredients (retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide) for 3–5 days prior
  • Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning for at least 1 week before your appointment
  • Discontinue exfoliation (physical or chemical) to prevent over-sensitizing the skin
  • Keep skin hydrated with gentle, barrier-supporting products
  • Inform your provider of any medications, recent treatments, or skin sensitivities
  • Avoid waxing or hair removal in the treatment area for at least 5–7 days

After Your Chemical Peel

Your skin will be more sensitive—treat it with care to protect and support regeneration:

  • Strict sun protection is essential — apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and reapply
  • Do not pick or peel the skin — allow natural shedding to avoid scarring or pigmentation
  • Avoid heat and sweating (saunas, workouts, hot showers) for 24–48 hours
  • Pause active ingredients for 5–7 days or until fully healed
  • Use gentle, hydrating skincare to support the skin barrier
  • Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours (or as advised by your provider)
  • Stay hydrated and keep the skin moisturized

What to Expect

  • Mild redness, tightness, or sensitivity immediately after treatment
  • Light to moderate peeling depending on the depth of the peel
  • Visible improvement in tone, texture, and radiance within days
